‘Self-Limiting Behaviors’
Well-Come back #TRYBE to another mind and soul expansion with the Spiritual Fitness Community!
Lucky number 13 discussing our Self-Limiting Behaviors. This is a follow up to our Upper Limit Problem episode #4— in how we can become aware and stronger at recognizing our patterns of behavior when we feel good versus when we don’t. Please take a moment to listen if you did not catch that one as it will help navigate this episode with more connection.
Paying attention and recognizing the behaviors to see they are there, one can start facing their ingrained fears. Without knowing, one will keep hitting a wall and fail to realize one can have more. We were born to keep creating and manifesting on this journey.
One easy behavior to spot is procrastination. Once you are happy and gaining momentum, you can put on the brakes through distraction; becomes a terrible cycle keeping you from moving into more happiness. Distraction and procrastination work together to create this SLB cycle.
Begin noticing your patterns by paying attention to how you feel when you are in certain surroundings. Do you feel energized or drained? If you are feeling drained should you be there spending your energy, bringing down your own frequency?
If you do not know any behaviors you do to limit yourself, do you have people in your life that will be honest with you? Ask them and really investigate what they bring up. Or review the five challenging questions in the times you might feel you are getting in your own way.
Topics we touch on:
Feeling of worry and self-sabotage
Procrastination / Distraction cycle
How do you feel in your surroundings—awareness of your energy in groups
Coming back to the 5 Senses Diet
Questions to go over to help your SLBs!
Challenging Questions:
”How do you know that to (always) be true, <your first name>?”
“What other valid stories could one create based upon the same observable date?”
“How might you act differently, <your first name>, if you didn’t believe that story to be true?”
“Do you think it would serve you to act that way, <your first name>?
“How will you experiment with acting differently <your first name>?
