Welcome back to another episode of Spiritual Fitness. We are continuing the conversations around suffering. We have discussed the different types of suffering and introduced a spirit hack to help you reframe the event. We went a bit further into the value of our suffering; how it helps you as an adult, how you can reframe the lesson.
In this episode we are going to talk about accepting it as part of our very nature. We introduce our guest, Rob Green, coming to us from Costa Rica. He was in the UK but felt the urge to leave his comfort zone and change for the better.
Trauma is a hallmark feature of human life. We can hold our suffering with us and still take the chance to change for the better. The jealousy and doubts may still creep back in but it is a part of us to be able to accept as well as transform it for ourselves.
Suffering is the first rule of life. We come out of the womb suffering. Our suffering is in our thoughts and we come back to 80-90% of the same thoughts every day. We have the ability to notice them, reframe them and adjust. Why keep a strong hold on our suffering when we can let it go?
E-motion aka energy in motion are our thoughts running through us. We can look at them for what they truly are by learning tools to get out of the mind. Suffering and pain can turn into poison. It needs to be transformed or it will turn into poison inside of ourselves.
Our egos, on many levels, are addicted to pain and suffering. In some of our previous episodes we discussed how our brains are hardwired to look out for danger. It goes back to the Neanderthal days of hunting for survival. The mechanism is still hardwired in our DNA. Our ego uses this currently as sort of an addiction.
We enjoy pain and suffering. Think about it for a minute. We use our suffering as a way to connect. We are taught this from the beginning as children to have a sense of doubt.
We can intentionally chose to see the world through light and positivity.
Egos tend to bond in pain. Simply begin to realize that the ego’s natural state is one of suffering, or pain. To make teammates with your ego becomes crucial to begin to shift and awaken to higher state of consciousness. Trying to kill the ego can work against us and possibly cause more suffering. You need to have a bit of fight and grit to get through this life.
The events that happen to you in life do not MAKE you anything, it is your inner perspective that make you see it a certain way. Can you level up through this event?
Is it possible for you to stop and notice when you are steeped into your ego and your suffering? What are the clues that let you know? There are clues in your body, are you able to tune into them?
Being present can be a great tool to letting in the goodness versus thoughts you do not need. Let the emotions go and the negative energy go; it affects the body. The toxins we take in turn into fat and our negative emotion gets stored as fat as well.
Think about the suffering that shows up in your body, tap in, see if you can hear the full body yes or no and work through the healing. Your suffering can be self-inflicted and easily changed by shifting perspective. Start to look at our pain and trauma as rocket fuel to level UP!!
