Blog Post, Podcast Episode #3:
Comparison is the Death of Happiness
Welcome back to the follow up discussion on Happiness VS. Joy where we delve deeper into our human nature of the comparison game we all go through. The many ways we compare our lives to others and how this behavior can ruin, inhibit, as well as block our ability to find joy. Our friend, Travis Lange, joins us to discuss this topic.
Travis discusses how living in a world of comparison can rob you of happiness and joy. This can begin at a young age when you watch people grow, move on and one finds themselves in the same place. To find yourself asking the questions of why not me? Viewing the world through a lense of stagnation gives over your power to others.
Take a look inside this episode for some activities to help alleviate stagnation and find true joy in our daily lives. Avoid getting stuck in a comfort zone that may keep you creating the same reality as you did before. Pushing outside your zone can be something so simple as changing the way you brush your teeth to help raise your frequency. Discovering your dharma to better serve you and others in your journey.
Joy is an internal game unable to be robbed, stolen and compared.
